Testing July 2011

Hello Scott and Don,

I am testing it to see if it works so far. Can use it for our own vlog to all subscribers which will be clicked by the website to see any videos on the blog instead of website.

It can be viewed on mobile as I just found out that it was new recently for mobile viewing. Slender than normal when u see on the website blog.

Please review the blog to see if we can improve by adding or taking anything off. I will be working on it for a while. Will keep you posted.

At the McKDC general meeting, we had several motions to discuss and all were passed. We will host two events per month unless noted otherwise. Please check on our Upcoming Events on our website.

We are excited to announce that we have a new secretary named Brenda Lambert. Please welcome her to our Executive Board for the year 2010.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The McKDC board members and committee is proudly hosting the first annual picnic at Towne Lake Park on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The admission for food and drinks will be $5.00 per person.

We will have games for adults and children in the morning and hands on crafts for children in the afternoon. There will be several sponsored exhibits throughout the day.

The picnic location is at 1405 Wilson Creek Parkway, McKinney, TX Exit #39. For directions, please go to our website at www.mckinneydeafclub.org and click on "Upcoming Events". There will be a picnic flyer, menu and directions on the website.

****PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LAWN CHAIRS AND BLANKETS****

We will be hosting a social night following the picnic at the Holiday Inn from 7 p.m. to Midnight. The address and directions can be found on our website as well.

We will be selling raffle tickets for door prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the picnic and social night. The raffle ticket drawings will be at 2 p.m. at the picnic and 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.

NEWS UPDATE

Announcements:

McKinney Deaf Club will host our first annual picnic on June 13th. We will serve foods and beverages at the shelter. Also we will have games for adults and children. Grand Opening Pictures

Our Grand Opening Event was a successful one for us. 95 members and approx. 15 kids were attending. The hotel bar was very nice and cozy despite the bad thunderstorm for us to come and have fun.
